Can I play Truth or Dare online for free?
Yes. Create a private CardYard Room, share the six-character code, and play together in modern phone or desktop browsers.
Does everyone need an app?
No. Every player joins from a browser. CardYard keeps the spotlight, prompt reveal, optional timer, and next player synchronized.
Can we play on a video call?
Yes. Keep your preferred voice or video call open and answer or perform there. CardYard does not store your answers, audio, or video.
Can a player skip a prompt?
Always. The spotlight player can choose Not for me without a penalty or explanation, and the circuit continues.
How are turns kept fair?
Every active player receives one spotlight turn before anyone repeats. New players enter safely after the current prompt.
