How to host a blind ranking
- Pick a topic and say the lens out loud, for example “NFL quarterbacks by clutch ability”.
- The host shuffles the five items and keeps them hidden.
- Reveal one item at a time. Each player puts it in an open slot from 1 to 5 before the next one appears.
- No take-backs. Once a slot is filled it stays filled, even when a better pick shows up next.
- When all five are placed, compare lists and argue about the biggest gaps.
Every list on this page works with no phone at all: one person reads, everyone else ranks on paper or out loud. To let the game do the hiding, open the blind ranking game, type any topic into Custom theme, and challenge a friend with the same hidden order or open a private Room so everyone ranks on their own phone.
What makes a good topic
Use items every player recognizes, add a lens so people know what “best” means, and mix strong and weak picks so the #1 slot is a real gamble. Five items is the sweet spot: long enough for regret, short enough for a quick round or a 30-second video.
Filming it for TikTok or Reels
Have a friend read the items off camera, or put the game on a second screen, and say each rank the moment you see the item. Keep your first reaction, show the final list at the end, and post it with #blindranking.
