CAH-style generator
Use CardYard as a Cards Against Humanity®-style generator for fresh black-card prompts. CardYard is not affiliated with Cards Against Humanity® LLC and does not replace the official game.
Use this guide
Generate fill-in-the-blank black-card style prompts for party rounds. Pick a category or custom theme and read prompts to the group.
Use lighter categories for mixed groups. Choose premium adult categories when everyone opts into sharper humor.
Build prompts around birthdays, office parties, trips, or inside jokes for your group.
The Card Czar is the round judge. They read the black card, collect answers, choose the funniest response, and rotate the role after the winner is picked.
For a live browser round, keep answer hands small so turns stay quick. Five to seven answer options per player is enough for most casual groups.
Multi-blank prompts work best when everyone knows the card needs multiple answers. Agree on house rules before play so the round stays fair and fast.
Use black cards as fill-in-the-blank setups and white cards as possible answers. Clean, weird, party, office, and adult themes should stay in separate rounds.
