Spectrum Guess

Wavelength online for the whole room

Say or type one clue. Everyone tunes a private dial. Reveal where the room landed together.

Everyone gets a dial

One secret target

The clue giver sees the hidden spot. Every other player guesses privately, so nobody can copy the loudest person in the room.

One big reveal

All player markers appear together with the scoring bands. Closest guesses earn more points and the clue giver rotates next round.

Play in three moves

  1. Create

The host picks a category, creates the room, and shares the code.

  2. Tune

The clue giver says a clue out loud or types it for the Room. Everyone else moves and locks a private dial.

  3. Reveal

See the target, compare every marker, add points, and rotate the clue giver.

Wavelength online questions

Spectrum Guess works for friends in the same room or on a video call.

Can I play Wavelength online for free?

Yes. Spectrum Guess is CardYard's free browser-based spectrum game. One person creates a private room, then 2-12 players join with the six-character code.

Does everyone need to download an app?

No. The host and players open CardYard in a browser on a phone, tablet, or computer. There is no download required for Room play.

How do private guesses work?

The clue giver sees the hidden target. Everyone else moves a private dial on their own screen and locks it in. All guesses appear together only when the target is revealed.

Can remote friends play together?

Yes. Share the room link or code over a group chat or video call. The Room keeps clues, private dials, scores, and new rounds synchronized.

Is Spectrum Guess the official Wavelength game?

No. Spectrum Guess is CardYard's independent online spectrum guessing game. CardYard is not affiliated with or endorsed by the owners of Wavelength.
