1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Cardyard (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility & Age Restrictions

The Service is open to users of any age; however, premium subscriptions and any content flagged "NSFW" are available only to individuals who are at least 18 years old. By purchasing a subscription or accessing NSFW packs you represent that you are 18 years of age or older.

3. Use License

We grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal or commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. This license does not grant you any rights to:

• modify or copy the Service’s software, interface, or content other than your own user‑generated content;
• resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service’s software;
• attempt to reverse engineer or decompile any software;
• remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.

4. User‑Generated Content

Cards and other creative outputs you generate using Cardyard remain your intellectual property. By creating or submitting content, you grant Cardyard a perpetual, worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to store, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and incorporate that content into existing or future card packs or other products and services, commercial or non‑commercial, without additional compensation to you. This license is necessary so we can, for example, feature user‑generated cards in packs available to the community. We do not claim ownership of your creations, and you remain free to exploit them however you wish, including for your own commercial projects.

5. Premium Subscriptions

• Plans. Premium plans are offered on a monthly or annual basis and renew automatically at the then‑current rate until cancelled.
• Billing. Payments are processed by Stripe; you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for each renewal period.
• Cancellation. You may cancel at any time through the customer portal; access remains active until the end of the current billing cycle.
• Refunds. Fees are generally non‑refundable. In rare cases of major service outages or billing errors, we may issue refunds at our sole discretion on a case‑by‑case basis.
• Price Changes. We may change subscription prices or features with at least 30 days’ notice (via email or in‑app message).

6. Content Guidelines

You agree not to use the Service to create, upload, or share content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, or depicts real‑person non‑consensual sexual activity. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service and all AI‑generated content are provided "as is." Cardyard makes no warranties, express or implied, and disclaims any responsibility for content that is inaccurate, offensive, or otherwise objectionable. Your use is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cardyard and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or abused the Service.

10. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the effective date of the latest version. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
