Exactly two players
Duo mode starts automatically with two active players. Partners alternate as cue giver for four turns each, use the same private two-cue flow, and combine every marker and cue bonus into one shared score. There is no individual ranking, tie, or overtime, only a final color-sync rating.
In Rooms, each partner plays on a separate phone. In local play, the device uses a look-away privacy handoff before showing target choices.

An exact guess earns 3 points, a neighboring cell earns 2, and a cell two steps away earns 1. The cue giver scores for markers on or next to the target.
