Free one-phone party game with AI cards
Spin the Bottle Online
CardYard's Spin the Bottle is a free online version of the classic party game that runs on one phone. Type everyone's names in the order you sit, lay the phone flat in the middle of the table and flick the bottle. When it stops, the person it points at picks Truth, Dare or Together, and a fresh AI card appears for your theme. No download, no account and no real bottle needed.
How to play Spin the Bottle online
- Add 2 to 12 players in seating order, going around the table. The names appear around a ring on the screen, so you can check that the order matches where everyone sits.
- Put the phone flat in the middle of the group. Flick the bottle with your finger for a long spin or tap Spin for a quick one. The bottle slows down naturally and points at a real person at the table.
- The picked player chooses Truth, Dare or Together. Read the card out loud, then tap Done. The picked player spins next.
- Anyone can pass on any card, with no penalty. Want more chaos? Turn on Random card type in Settings and let the bottle choose the card as well.
Truth, Dare or Together
- Truth
- A question the picked player answers out loud, honestly.
- Dare
- A short challenge the picked player does right now, in the room.
- Together
- A challenge for the spinner and the picked player as a pair, like a staring contest or inventing a secret handshake. This is the part of Spin the Bottle that works for every group.

Spin the bottle for kids, sleepovers and parties
Pick the theme that fits the room. Friends is the default: silly confessions and harmless challenges. Sleepover keeps things school-safe for teens. Family is mild enough for kids, parents and grandparents playing together. Party is louder and bolder for adult groups.
None of these themes include kissing. The classic version of Spin the Bottle is a kissing game, so CardYard keeps that to a separate Couples 18+ theme for adults playing with a partner, behind an age check. You can also type your own theme, like a birthday, a bachelorette or an office party, and get cards made for it.
Spin the Bottle FAQ
Is this Spin the Bottle game free?
Yes. You can play in your browser for free with no download and no account. The Couples 18+ theme is part of CardYard Premium.
What happens if the bottle lands on yourself?
It never does here. The bottle is set to skip the spinner, and it avoids picking the same person over and over, so everyone gets turns.
How many people can play?
2 to 12 players on one phone. You can also tap Play without names for a quick round where the bottle just points at someone.
Is Spin the Bottle a kissing game?
The traditional version is. On CardYard, the Friends, Party, Sleepover and Family themes never include kissing. Kissing dares appear only in the age-checked Couples 18+ theme.
Can I make custom spin the bottle questions?
Yes. Type any theme, such as a holiday, a TV show or an inside joke, and CardYard writes truths, dares and Together challenges for it.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. The whole game fits one screen on phones, tablets and desktop. Lay the phone flat so the bottle points at real people.
