Can I play Herd Mentality online for free?
Yes. Create a private CardYard Room, share its six-character code, and play with 3-12 people in any modern browser.
Does everyone need an app?
No. Every player joins from a phone, tablet, or computer browser. Nothing needs to be downloaded.
Can we play over a video call?
Yes. Keep your call open while everyone submits private answers on their own device. The Room reveals and scores the group together.
How are similar answers handled?
Exact matches group automatically. During judging, the host can merge equivalent answers, separate one answer, or undo a grouping change before scoring.
How do you win?
Only the single largest answer group scores each round. Every player in that group gets one point, and the first player or co-winners to reach eight win.
