Two Truths and a Lie Online Game
Play the classic personal icebreaker without paper. Each player writes two true statements and one lie, confirms the private set, then lets everyone else guess before the reveal.
Personal stories, private choices
Local play rotates the phone through private handoffs. Room play lets everyone prepare on their own device at the same time. The lie order and votes stay hidden until reveal.
Correct guessers earn two points. The author earns one point for every fooled voter, capped at four. Final ties use correct guesses as the tiebreaker, with shared winners when both totals match.
How to play Two Truths and a Lie
- Write three distinct statements about yourself.
- Mark exactly one statement as the lie.
- Pass the phone or vote privately in a Room.
- Reveal the lie after everyone votes.
- Rotate authors until everyone has shared a set.
Choose how your group plays
Both formats use personal statements and the same scored guessing rules.
- One phone: Free pass-and-play for 2 to 12 players with a privacy cover before every private turn.
- Private Room: Everyone prepares simultaneously on separate devices, then votes together. Hosting uses the existing Premium Room access; joining is free.
- Ad-free gameplay: Personal statements are user-generated content, so the entire gameplay flow is ineligible for ads.
